The mechanic of this board game was designed by Erik Kovac. I worked on the graphic design, helped with play testing and adjusting the design based on feedback, while an illustrator did the illustrations.

We wanted to go for a look that is familiar to people who play cards and know about Blackjack, but also easy and welcoming for players new to the concept. I combined elements of classic playing card designs and the use of big numbers in the center of simple games like UNO to achieve this goal.

Number Cards

The main gimmick of this game is that there is information on the back of the cards, indicating whether the card is a number card or a face card. The player needs to take different actions with number and face cards, and can also strategize based on this information.

There are regular numbers and special numbers. The special numbers also have slightly unique designs to draw the attention of the players.
