Rocket, is an UI/UX project, which is a build-your-own ice cream sundae app. I collaborated with one friend on this project.

Nowadays ice creams started to get more and more flavors, sometimes they can get very creative, but we also sometimes have a hard time just to find a very specific flavor we like. Sometimes the best ones are from some not very well known local spots, sometimes a store in another city, so we created this app with the intention to solve these problems. We researched the possibility of delivering ice cream across the country, so we came up with this app to bring all flavors of ice cream to your doorstep.

Research Progress

We researched all types of platforms, there really isn't many platform that focus on only ice cream, not on the food review side or delivery side. For something like ice cream that is beloved by almost everyone but have strict requirements to be shared across long distance, we want to make something that is special and fit the need of the ice cream lovers.

User Persona

Design Progress

The name of our app is Rocket, with the log line of “ice cream from anywhere, even the moon”. We came up with it when we were doodling while sketching the building user flow.

We wanted to evoke a sense of no limits, speed, and reliability. And it provided a unique visual for motion and our logo.
